The direct cause of cloudy pool water is that the pore size of the filter is fixed and cannot intercept suspended pollutants that are smaller than its pore size. When the amount of suspended pollutants not intercepted by the filter accumulates to a certain extent, the water becomes cloudy. BOWS™'s direct and effective method is to aggregate these fine suspended pollutants so that the filter can intercept them. Hence, the product Enzyme Clarifier was developed and produced. It can cause the suspended pollutants in the pool water to form "micro-floc" particles larger than the filter's pore size. These "micro-floc" particles are invisible to the naked eye but are large enough to be intercepted by the filter.
When the pool water is cloudy, adding 1
gram of Enzyme Clarifier per ton of water will
clarify the water after one circulation cycle. To prevent cloudiness, add 0.2
grams of Enzyme Clarifier per ton of pool water
daily. Whether treating or preventing cloudy pool water, it is necessary to
maintain the free residual chlorine level above 1.0ppm and the pH value between
7.2 and 7.6.
Of course, the underlying causes of cloudy
pool water are multifaceted, with the main reasons being: (1) poor disinfection
leading to bacterial proliferation; (2) excessive pollution load in the
swimming pool; (3) low
filtration efficiency of the filtration system. If you want to fundamentally
solve the problem of cloudy pool water, please refer to the knowledge in the Technical Library or contact us for consultation.
